Thursday Fish Fry
We appreciate that Uncle Charley Adams took
Rebecca out to get the fish last summer.
Sister Bishop had never been to a fish fry before, but
agreed that Rebecca's was the best.

The baby shower
This weekend, as most of you know, was the baby shower. It was suppose to snow so I went up the night before and spent the night. Sure enough, we awoke to a snow storm, which prevented one of Brittany's friends from Salt Lake from attending. There were three who did remember and weren't inhibited by the bad weather. We ate some yummy foods, played a couple of games and she opened presents. I was running around so much that I forgot to take a lot of pictures.
Sorry Mama ;)
They were happy for the swing that Eva, Mary, Becca and Amanda got them. They got it all set up and is actually cuter in person than the picture on the box.
Brittany's sister knitted this afghan for them- way cute!
I made this blanket and gave them a wooden sign that has Mackenzie and "Daddy's little princess" on it.
This was one of the games where I melted candy bars in diapers and you had to try and guess what kind of candy bar it was. It was really fun.
(I know, what a waste of perfectly good candy bars)
Here are the things they got that day (other than the swing that didn't fit into the close up shot).
I think it was pretty fun. We made cute party favors that were little milk cartons only made from card stock and stamped with flowers, butterflies and hearts. I filled them with kisses, dove hearts and mini candy bars. Then we tied the top together with ribbon and had a little tag that said "Thanks" on it. I was kind of glad I had leftovers because they were so cute.

By the way, a new favorite recipe because it is so easy in a pinch:
Home Made Oreos
2 boxes of Devils Food Cake mix
3/4 cup oil
4 eggs
Beat until mixed and moist. Roll into balls & bake @ 375* for 8-10 min. Let them cool then put vanilla frosting on bottom of one, then put the bottom of another on the other side.
Variations: I used pink frosting for the baby shower and is still was yummy.
**If anyone tries using a different kind of cake mix, let me know how it works out!

A personal best
I am super excited, and I just wanted to share with my family why, since most of you will understand. I have NEVER been a jogger (I know- shocking news flash!) but always wanted to because its never the fat people who are jogging, just skinny. There must be a reason for that. ANYWAYS....I've been going to the gym in the morning and walking on the treadmill for 20 min. and then doing weights and ball workouts. Well I got up the courage to try to start jogging, which only lasted like a minute before walking resumed (cuz I'm not one of those skinny people yet, just a fat walker ;). Well, I've worked my way up now to 1.7 miles STRAIT -with out stopping!!!!! I'm so proud of myself!! It helps that I have an AWeSoMe sports bra that is under wire and fabulous. (What can I say...I wouldn't be a Foster if I didn't comment about food or bosoms!) Only problem is I'm still not skinny and since I've been doing this for a month my pants have only gotten more snug. Richard says it's because I'm building muscle under the fat. I'd rather trade in the new muscle for old fat, but apparently you cant just trade across the board or anything. Hmmm... so I guess I just keep plugging along and hope that tomorrow I'll wake up not loving food so much! Here's hoping!
My 1st "Heart Attack"
I Just LOVE my primary girls. Even though I'm gone they still remember me and love me:-) I was given my first "Heart Attack" ever last night by them and they also left me a big plate of chocolate chip cookies. They are sooooooo awesome!!! It really made my day. I am going to keep them up for valentines day if they last that long.
On a side note I have the dumbest dog in the whole wide world. It must have taken them some time to put all the hearts on my door and Mazie didn't bark or make a sound. When they knocked on the door and ran then she got off her butt to see what was going on. Good thing I don't count on her to keep me safe!!
