Anual Trip to Mackenzie helps Megan turn 8 today

We couldn't have asked for a nicer day to make our annual trip to Poynette. Good weather, food, and company. This is the first trip the Boggs family has made to the center and they totally enjoyed themselves. Randall even sacrificed going to Drivers Ed. to come.
The Fosters made it to the observation deck. Logan, the child Rebecca babysits, even climbed a lot of the way with the short legs he has.

The Wing span test was next. Not sure who has the longest arms.

We can't make a trip without the traditional rock pose. They cut down a lot of the trees around it, so we couldn't go behind to peak through.

These are 4 of the prettiest girls around.

This is a replay of an old trick they used to do on Ashley at the pond. She is not as easy to hold up as she used to be.
Bathroom break and posing by the flowers sent us on our way to see Paul Bunyan.

Tall, dark and handsome. Just what these 2 eligible maidens want.
Logan's mom is the Smokey the Bear in Adams, so we had to have him in a picture with one.
Coming up the long drive from the conservation museum, Mary and Ashley got to walking in step crossing their feet over top of the other. They are really good at it.
We all had a good time today. After this we went to the picnic area. The kids played Frisbee. Mostly Megan and Wyatt gathered small raspberries and ate them. It was a great day for all.
Of course I didn't post all the pictures. I ended up taking 75. Many are of the Boggs family. She is a scrapbooker and was excited she could get some.

What a busy weekend!! I need a nap;-)

What a busy weekend!! Megan and I where in the 4th of July parade. Then we went to a 4th of July party at Marks friend Jim's home (yes he has friends;-) to eat dinner, hangout and to see the fireworks and didn't get home until 11:00pm. I was soooo tired that is way late for me.
Then today we celebrated Megan's 8th birthday as a family because Mark has to work tomorrow. She opened her gifts and loved them all, then we went to McDonald's play land for lunch and petting zoo in WI. Rapids then to the new "Ice age 3" movie. It was a fun weekend. But like Grandpa Foster liked to say "having fun is hard work" :-)

This is a video of Megan trying out her new Disney Princess scooter that we got her for her birthday.
