Hooray for Eva

Eva called and said she had news. She made the Dean's list. She was on the Dean's list Honor roll. She had to have a GPA of at least 3.8. She was invited to be part of the Honor's Program next year. Most people apply but the administration actually came to Eva and asked her. WAY TO GO EVA.

Yes, I'm alive. And here's the proof:

Well Mary apperantly doesn't have Facebook and therefore wants me to update the blog with photos of my family and such. So here goes.

This was the childrens parade where the kids decorated their own bikes and got to ride up and down a street showing them off. Eva was here that day and helped with the decorating. Ean lost most of his decoration before we even made it there. Because Ria couldn't reach her peddals I zip tied some wood blocks to them. But then they kept falling down the wrong side, so I zip tied her sandals to the blocks. She still didn't do very well and we ended up having to pull her the whole way anyways, but at least her feet didn't fall down in the way! :)

For Family Home Evening we went up the Canyon on a cook out. We just did smores and hot dogs, but had lots of fun just being up there and all together.

So, as most of you know, I re-did my bathroom by myself. I tore down the border that went all around the bathroom, and then put mud texture on all the walls. The next day I primed and painted. The color we chose is called "Sarah's Sunshine" (I kid you not :).
These are before pictures:

Textured mud:

And after:

I still need to finish the baseboards and I'm going to put up some crown molding. I hope to get it all done before Mama and Becca get out here. That's the goal. :)

Megans Baptism was a Great Event

Megan was very happy that Grandpa has had so much practice baptizing people. She told me Sunday that she didn't have a back up plan. She was delighted to hear that he had baptized all her Aunts and Uncles. Rebecca printed off wonderful programs.

Bishop Gerald Jaquith conducted the service.

Sister Gwen Ramsell gave a wonderful talk on baptism. She is Megan's Sunday School/Primary teacher. She took time off from work to come because she loves Megan.

Lots of relatives came to wish Megan well. Alan and Missy drove over from Westfield. Alan is home for the summer from Ripon College where he is on the football team.

Grandpa Bob and Grandma Karen were on hand to wish Megan well.

This is the Foster gang that showed up. It was good to get together. Eva was supposed to be out on the truck, but they didn't have a load until Tuesday. She was glad to be able to attend.
This is a lot of woman power for Dad to handle, but he was up to the task.

Aunt Eloise and Dennis are up for a couple of weeks. It was great that she could come.
For the program, besides Sister Ramsell, Mary Jo gave a talk on the Holy Ghost, Ashley sang a solo as did Kandy Horrer. It turned out to be a memorable event. After it was all over Megan posed for this picture in her new dress.
